Orginally set up in 1996, Biggar Youth Project is a SCIO based in Biggar, South Lanarkshire which uses a modern approach to youth work to promote well-being and good mental health via pastoral support and a listening ear with signposting provided where needed.
We support young people aged 10 -18 though key stages of their lives such as transition to High School, exams and entering the workplace. We also provide advice and sign-posting on a range of issues including loneliness and isolation, the cost of living crisis, family issues, gender and sexuality,
Out catchment roughly corresponds with the Biggar High School catchment, but some activities attract young people from further afield in Clydesdale as well as from neighbouring areas of Tweeddale.
